1. Introduction

At Queblornzomralex, we understand that plans can change. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may request cancellations, refunds, or transfers for our journaling workshops and creative writing programmes.

By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this policy. This policy forms part of the overall agreement between you and Queblornzomralex and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Single Session Workshops

For single session workshops and introductory classes, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 14 days before the workshop: Full refund minus a £10 administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before the workshop: 50% refund of the workshop fee
  • Less than 7 days before the workshop: No refund available, but you may transfer your booking to another date subject to availability
  • No-show without prior notice: No refund or transfer available

2.2 Multi-Week Programmes

For multi-week courses and programmes (4 weeks or longer), the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 21 days before the start date: Full refund minus a £25 administrative fee
  • 14-21 days before the start date: 75% refund of the total programme fee
  • 7-14 days before the start date: 50% refund of the total programme fee
  • Less than 7 days before the start date: No refund available

Once a multi-week programme has commenced, no refunds will be issued for remaining sessions. However, you may be eligible to defer to a future programme subject to availability and approval.

2.3 Retreat and Intensive Programmes

For weekend retreats and intensive programmes, due to the higher costs of preparation and venue bookings, the following terms apply:

  • More than 30 days before the retreat: Full refund minus a £50 administrative fee
  • 21-30 days before the retreat: 75% refund of the total fee
  • 14-21 days before the retreat: 50% refund of the total fee
  • Less than 14 days before the retreat: No refund available

3. How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation, please follow these steps:

  • Send an email to contact@queblornzomralex.world with the subject line "Cancellation Request"
  • Include your full name, booking reference number, and the workshop or programme you wish to cancel
  • State whether you would like a refund or to transfer to another date
  • Cancellation requests received after business hours (9:00 - 17:00 GMT) or on weekends will be processed on the next business day

You will receive confirmation of your cancellation request within 2 business days. Please note that the date of cancellation is determined by when we receive your email, not when you send it.

4. Refund Process

4.1 Refund Method

All refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Refunds cannot be issued to a different payment method or account.

4.2 Processing Time

Once your cancellation has been approved, refunds will be processed within the following timeframes:

  • Credit/Debit Card payments: 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
  • Bank transfers: 3-5 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days

Please note that while we process refunds promptly, the time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution.

4.3 Partial Attendance

If you are unable to attend certain sessions within a multi-week programme after it has started, we cannot offer refunds for missed sessions. However, we may be able to provide supplementary materials or recordings where available.

5. Transfer Policy

5.1 Transferring to Another Date

If you are unable to attend your booked workshop, you may request to transfer your booking to a future date, subject to the following conditions:

  • Transfer requests must be made at least 48 hours before the original workshop date
  • Transfers are subject to availability in the requested workshop
  • Each booking is eligible for one free transfer; subsequent transfers may incur a £15 administrative fee
  • Transfers must be used within 6 months of the original booking date

5.2 Transferring to Another Person

Bookings may be transferred to another person subject to the following conditions:

  • Transfer requests must be made at least 72 hours before the workshop
  • The new participant must meet any eligibility requirements for the workshop
  • You must provide the full name and contact details of the new participant
  • Name transfers cannot be made on the day of the workshop

6. Cancellations by Queblornzomralex

6.1 Programme Cancellation

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a workshop or programme due to:

  • Insufficient enrolment to run an effective session
  • Facilitator illness or emergency
  • Venue availability issues
  • Extreme weather or other force majeure events
  • Public health concerns or government restrictions

6.2 Our Obligations

If we cancel a workshop, you will be entitled to:

  • A full refund of the workshop fee, processed within 10 business days
  • Alternatively, transfer to another available date at no additional cost
  • Priority booking for future workshops if preferred

We will notify you of any cancellation as soon as reasonably possible and at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time where circumstances permit.

6.3 Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur as a result of our cancellation, including but not limited to travel expenses, accommodation costs, or lost wages. We strongly recommend that you do not make non-refundable travel or accommodation arrangements in connection with our workshops.

7. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

7.1 Compassionate Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances such as serious illness, bereavement, or other emergencies may arise. In such cases, we will consider requests for refunds or transfers outside our standard policy on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us with supporting documentation where appropriate.

7.2 Gift Vouchers and Promotional Bookings

Workshops booked using gift vouchers or promotional codes are subject to specific terms:

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Promotional or discounted bookings may have restricted cancellation terms as specified at the time of booking
  • Refunds for promotional bookings will be limited to the amount actually paid

8. Disputes and Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with how a refund or cancellation request has been handled, please contact us in writing to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and will review each case individually.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication may be referred to an appropriate alternative dispute resolution service or the relevant consumer protection authorities in the United Kingdom.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Changes will not affect bookings made before the date of modification.
